So reads the category of “Why Americans Are Ignoring HIV and AIDS,” published today on DivineCaroline. I noticed the topic was one women my age seem to never discuss and wanted to use Stanford’s recent thinkBIG conference on women’s health and human rights as a jumping off point for looking into how many American women are actually affected.
